Another week has come and gone and here at nihub Innovation Center it’s been quite a busy one. In China, we always mentioned 9-9-6.
What does this mean?
Well, it means that startups here work from 9am to 9pm, 6 days a week. Of course, this remains true for startups around the globe as we all work towards making our passion into a tangible business.
This week @ nihub, we have been working a lot to develop our Ecosystem, especially with corporation. We have met with Nokia, Geely, Lynk & Co, & HIK Vision again this week to develop our increasingly tight-knitted partnership in innovation.
Wednesday evening, we held our weekly Community Event, this time featuring the CMO of pingpong, Aaron (http://www.pingpongx.com), as our guest speaker. As a global leader Fin-Tech, pingpong just became yet another unicorn company (Value > 1bio USD) in the Hangzhou ecosystem. Aaron shared with us his story but also how their company started from a niche market but with a strong global strategy.
Thursday morning we were off to Shanghai yet again for the second course in our CEO Training (Batch #4). The second course revolves around HR, Accounting, & Taxes in the PRC. a hot topic in China at the moment due to new tax rules and changes to social insurance policy. If you’re interested in learning more about these changes, please contact us here.
Over this past week alone, we’ve met with projects from Thailand, Israel, Italy, France, Singapore, Austria, Ukraine, HK, USA, and Korea! More than ever, we’re very proud to see China becoming an priority hub for startups around the globe.
Finally we’ve arrived to the weekend. However, if you know us you know our week is not quite over. Saturday marked the first workshop in our new co-working space ini Hangzhou. The topic this week was:“How To Start in China: From Zero To One”
